The discussion series to raise awareness and community interest in sustainable practices continues Wednesday, March 28.
"Combined Heat and Power, Waste Heat Recovery and District Energy: Improving efficiency, reducing costs and increasing energy reliability" is at 3:30 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Senate Chambers. It will be presented by Patti Case from the U.S. Department of Energy's Intermountain Clean Energy Application Center. A question-and-answer session follows, with the session ending by 5 p.m.
Sponsored by the UW Campus Sustainability Committee, Wednesday's program is the second in a series that includes one event per month during February, March and April on topics, including sustainable foods, energy efficiency and waste management.
