UW Sustainability Discussion Series Continues Wednesday

March 26, 2012

The discussion series to raise awareness and community interest in sustainable practices continues Wednesday, March 28.

"Combined Heat and Power, Waste Heat Recovery and District Energy: Improving efficiency, reducing costs and increasing energy reliability" is at 3:30 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Senate Chambers. It will be presented by Patti Case from the U.S. Department of Energy's Intermountain Clean Energy Application Center. A question-and-answer session follows, with the session ending by 5 p.m.

Sponsored by the UW Campus Sustainability Committee, Wednesday's program is the second in a series that includes one event per month during February, March and April on topics, including sustainable foods, energy efficiency and waste management. The sessions are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
