The UW Department of Theatre and Dance presents the play “Marat/Sade” Tuesday, Nov. 6-Saturday, Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Studio Theatre.

These are among the activities scheduled Nov. 5-11 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, Nov. 5-Friday, Nov. 9, 10:30 a.m. -- The Reading of the Names presentation as part of Holocaust Remembrance Week  for those lost during WWII, Wyoming Union Program Lounge. Free.

Monday, Nov. 5, 6:30 p.m. -- Holocaust Remembrance Week event, the film “The Pianist” will be shown in the  Senate Chambers, Wyoming Union Room 221.

Tuesday, Nov. 6, 12:30 p.m. -- Holocaust Remembrance Week event, Sonja's Legacy  presents artwork that Sonja Fischerova created while imprisoned in Auschwitz, Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.

Tuesday, Nov. 6, 3 p.m. -- Doug Scambler, a clinical psychologist in Laramie, will present “Autism and Asperger's Syndrome: An Informative Presentation,” Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.

Tuesday, Nov. 6-Saturday, Nov. 10, 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 11, 2 p.m. -- The controversial play “Marat/Sade” will be staged, Fine Art Studio Theater. Tickets cost $14 for the public, $11 for seniors and $7 for students. “Marat/Sade” contains language and themes, as well as scenes of a violent and/or sexual nature, that some may find objectionable. It is not recommended for younger audiences.

Wednesday, Nov. 7, noon -- Holocaust Remembrance Week event, Skype session with World War II Jewish spy Max Lerner, Wyoming Union Family Room 212. Free.

Wednesday, Nov. 7, 6 p.m. -- The Color of Sound  exhibition features live music and discussion with Shaolin Jazz, Wyoming Union Ballroom. Free.

Wednesday, Nov. 7, 6:30 p.m. -- Holocaust Remembrance Week event, the film “Defiance” will be shown in the  Senate Chambers, Wyoming Union Room 221.

Thursday, Nov. 8, 12:15 p.m. -- Holocaust Remembrance Week event, Estelle Nadel discusses her experiences as a Holocaust survivor, College of Education auditorium. Free.

Thursday, Nov. 8, 6 p.m. -- Closing reception for the Color of Sound exhibition, Wyoming Union Gallery 234. Free.

Thursday, Nov. 8, 6 p.m. -- Opening reception for the “Never Drink Downstream: Factual Tales and Artful Musing on Wyoming Water” symposium, UW Art Museum. Free

Thursday, Nov. 8, 6:30 p.m. -- Holocaust Remembrance Week event, the film “Schindler’s List” will be shown, Wyoming Union East Yellowstone Ballroom 220c. Free.

Thursday, Nov. 8, 7 p.m. -- Cowgirl volleyball vs. Fresno State, UniWyo Sports Complex. Tickets cost $5 for adults, $3 for children and admission is free for UW students.

Thursday, Nov. 8, 7:30 p.m. -- The UW Symphonic Band performs, Fine Arts concert hall. Free.

Friday, Nov. 9-Saturday, Nov. 10, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. -- The symposium, “Never Drink Downstream: Factual Tales and Artful Musing on Wyoming Water” can be seen, Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.

Friday, Nov. 9, 4:30 p.m. -- The Mt. Moran computing center ribbon cutting ceremony, Information Technology Data Center. Free.

Friday, Nov. 9, 5:30 p.m. -- “Find Your VOICE” women’s leadership conference event, “Women of Distinction” dinner banquet, Wyoming Union ballroom.  Cost is $10. Pay by Nov. 7 in the ASUW Business Office.

Friday, Nov. 9, 6 p.m. -- “Listening to Nature: An Evening of Readings and Visual Art by Scientists and Artists” features nature-focused projects, Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center auditorium. Free.

Friday, Nov. 9, 6:30 p.m. -- The film “ParaNorman” will be shown, Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.

Friday, Nov. 9, 8:30 p.m. -- “Find Your VOICE” women’s leadership conference event, the film “Invisible War” will be shown, Wyoming Union West Ballroom. Free.

Saturday, Nov. 10, 8:30 a.m. -- “Find Your VOICE” women’s leadership conference event, keynote speaker Elaine Penn on “The Heart of Leadership,” Wyoming Union Ballroom. Free.

Saturday, Nov. 10, 6 p.m. -- Cowgirl volleyball vs. UNLV, UniWyo Sports Complex. Tickets cost $5 for adults, $3 for children and admission is free for UW students.

Saturday, Nov. 10, 8 p.m. -- Cowboy basketball vs. Western State (Colo.), Arena-Auditorium. Tickets cost $18 for the public, $10 for children 3-18, and admission is free for UW students.

Sunday, Nov. 11, 7:30 p.m. -- The jazz group Quatour Ebéne performs, Fine Arts concert hall. Tickets cost $20 for the public and $17 for students and seniors.
