The UW Physical Plant has scheduled an electrical outage, in coordination with Rocky Mountain Power, to re-work the west campus electrical service. The outage will begin at 4:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, and last approximately 1.5 hours. Buildings between 15th and Ninth streets and between Ivinson and Lewis streets will be without power during the outage.
Another required outage to complete the final tie-ins is tentatively scheduled for the following Friday, Aug. 16. It again would begin at 4:45 p.m. and last for approximately two hours. Notice on the exact time of the second outage will be posted later this week.
Emergency back-up power will be provided during the outages for select emergency loads in the following buildings: College of Agriculture; Anthropology; Classroom Building; Coe Library; Berry Center; Physical Sciences; Earth Sciences; Energy Innovation Center; College of Engineering; Health Sciences; Pharmacy Building; Knight Hall (KUWR); and the Wyoming Union.
