Face painting is among the activities offered to children attending the Halloween Safe Treat event at the Wyoming Union.

The Wyoming Union will again sponsor Safe Treat, the trick-or-treating event for children at the University of Wyoming, from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31.

All school-aged trick-or-treaters are invited to the Wyoming Union for two hours of safe and dry trick-or-treating, plus games hosted by UW’s recognized student organizations and Wyoming Union tenants.

A canned food drive also is planned to support the Laramie Soup Kitchen’s pantry. Participants are encouraged to bring canned food items to donate.

After the Wyoming Union events wrap up, trick-or-treaters are invited to proceed to Fraternity-Sorority row, Downey Hall and Washakie Center where the Halloween fun will continue with events hosted by UW’s Greek Life, and Residence Life and Dining Services.
