Two University of Wyoming students won top awards in the “Steal This Idea” graphic design competition at the recent Association of College Unions International (ACUI) Region IV Conference in Corvallis, Ore.

Jacob Chavez Jr., a marketing major from Rawlins, and Madison Cooley, a Cheyenne computer science and art major, both are student graphic design employees in the Wyoming Union marketing office.

Chavez was awarded first place in the print category for his poster promoting the Service, Leadership and Community Engagement (SLCE) office’s alternative break team leader opportunities.
