The University of Wyoming Department of Music’s first spring Faculty Recital Series concert has been rescheduled Sunday, Feb. 28, at 3 p.m. in the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts recital hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
“Old and New: Pivotal Masterworks for Clarinet and Piano,” featuring Blake McGee, UW assistant professor of clarinet, and Chi-Chen Wu, UW assistant professor of piano, was originally scheduled Feb. 21.
The concert will feature pieces that span more than a century, including classic compositions by German composer Johannes Brahms and French composer Francis Poulenc. The recital also will feature modern pieces from Polish-American composer Robert Muczynski and American composer Scott McAllister.
