Openings on City Boards and Commissions

Officials with Laramie city government wish to inform University of Wyoming employees of the opportunity to serve on various city boards and commissions.

The city currently has openings on:

-- The Building and Fire Code Board of Appeals.

-- The Planning Commission.

-- The Traffic Commission.

-- The Albany County Tourism Joint Powers Board.

-- The Parks, Trees and Recreation Advisory Board.

Applications for the first three boards on this list are due Wednesday, Nov. 7. Applications for the latter two are due Friday, Nov. 23.

Applications also are being accepted for the city’s Civil Service Commission until the position is filled.

These are volunteer positions.
