UWs Outdoor Program, Campus Recreation Host Virtual Screening of No Mans Land Film Festival

The University of Wyoming’s Outdoor Program and Campus Recreation are hosting a virtual showing of the No Man’s Land Film Festival (NMLFF) Friday, Sept. 11.

The free festival features women of all ages, backgrounds and abilities participating in outdoor recreational activities, such as running, surfing, mountain climbing, hiking, rock climbing and swimming. The total length of the program is 95 minutes.

Participants are urged to register at www.uwyo.edu/rec/outdoor-program/events.html to receive an email with a URL and password to watch the films free online any time between 6-11 p.m.

“While the name may sound exclusive, No Man’s Land encourages all genders to attend,” according to the film festival’s website.

Based in Carbondale, Colo., the film festival has reached international audiences, spreading its mission of undefining feminine and what it means to be a woman in adventure, sport and film.

“While we cannot all be together on campus just yet, we can all be together in community watching women crush in the outdoors,” says Garrett Genereux, Outdoor Program coordinator. “These films will inspire you to elevate the women in your life and possibly your next big adventure.”
