Graduate Education
Campus Activities
University events such as theater, music, and sporting events appeal to the entire campus. Many of the cultural events are student productions, but the University also brings in national and international soloists, ensembles, and acting companies.
Most departments hold events for graduate students, but graduate students of many departments also organize activities outside of the department. Downtown restaurants and the Union beer gardens are popular graduate student gathering places. More organized activities are offered through the outdoor programs office or organized by graduate student groups and include hikes up the nearby Medicine Bow peak, rafting on the Cache La Poudre River, picnics, and softball games.
