UW Police Department Personnel

About UWPD

The UWPD is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is staffed by; 15 certified peace officers, 5 security guards, 5 full-time dispatchers, 1 administrative support members and several part-time student employees.  All officers are fully trained and have full arrest authority.   

A chronological log of all police activity is available for public and media viewing through our Daily Activities Report.  University crime reports are included annually in the United States Department of Justice publication Crime in the United States.  Crime statistics are also available for public view at the Department of Education Web statistics for the University of Wyoming.
