UW Writing Center

Information about Writing Center Consultations:

The UW Writing Center continues to offer online consultations to the UW Writing Community. Due to COVID-19, there will be NO in-person consultations for the remainder of Spring 2021. To make an online appointment, please visit WCONLINE.

For more information on the campus plan, please check the official Campus Return page.

The Writing Center’s mission is to help all members of the UW community (whether student, faculty, or staff) to become more effective and confident writers. The Center can help with all types of academic and work-related writing, and assist at all stages of the writing process, from brainstorming to revising a final draft.

Meet with a trained writing consultant up to four times per week to receive help with your writing project. If you would like a real-time consultation, choose a video conferencing appointment. If you don't want to meet a consultant, you have the option to submit a paper for review
