UW Writing Center

Use our free services to become a more effective and confident writer!

Meet with a trained writing consultant up to four times per week to receive help with any writing project, at any stage of the writing process. If you would like a real-time consultation, choose a Face-to-Face or Video Conferencing appointment. If you don't want to meet a writing consultant, we have an asynchronous option called Review and Return.

Fall 2023 Hours

We are located in Coe Library, Level 1.

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Some Saturdays: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

For more information, please check our Fall 2023 Schedule to see consultant's available openings. If this is your first time visiting the Writing Center, you will need to make an account (separate from UW login).
