Colby Gull is the Managing Director of the Trustees Education Initiative and the Wyoming School University Partnership at the University of Wyoming. Prior to coming to the University he served as the superintendent of schools for Uinta County School District #6, Lyman, Wyoming and superintendent of schools in Challis, Idaho. Colby taught special education at Cedar High School in southern Utah where he also coached track and cross-country. Colby earned his B.S. in elementary education and special education from Southern Utah University. He also holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Southern Utah University. Colby earned his EdD from Idaho State University in Education Leadership and Administration. Customized learning, rural education, and interdisciplinary programming are among Colby’s professional interests. Colby has been married since 2000 and has 5 children.
