Outreach & Extension

The University of Wyoming Extension Sheep Program provides needs driven information to Wyoming sheep producers in all aspects of sheep and wool production. Extension outreach, applied research, and undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Wyoming encompass the mission of the sheep program.

University of Wyoming Beef Extension provides research-based resources to beef producers in Wyoming. Furthermore, the annual High Altitude Bull Test offers students hands-on learning and industry connections, enhancing their understanding of the livestock industry.

UW Meat Outreach collaborates closely with sheep and beef extension programs, conducting research and providing undergraduate and graduate research opportunities. Through daily and weekly meat reports, the program offers valuable insights and custom reports.
