Voir Dire Competition

Voir dire is the process by which potential jurors are selected or rejected. The outcome of a jury trial can be affected by trial lawyers’ skill at this initial stage and their ability to identify biases that could jeopardize their case. Voir dire is widely considered to be an art. The competition, which is sponsored by the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association, was renamed in 2023 to honor Robert R. Rose, Jr.

Finalists in the October 21, 2023, competition were Isaac Meine and Carson Lougee (1Ls) and Heather Bradford and Tiffany Killpack (3Ls).
