Bachelor of Applied Sciences - Organizational Leadership
College of Agriculture and Natural Resources
Students in the Bachelor of Applied Science program are encouraged to work with their assigned adviser each semester during preregistration. All courses are not offered online every semester; it is important to take courses in a sequence that allows you to move through the degree program effectively and efficiently. Your adviser has knowledge of the course rotation, necessary prerequisites, and the University Studies Program requirements.
Bachelor of Applied Sciences students should strongly consider completing an internship. AGRI 4960 BAS Internship
(6 credits) is offered every semester including summer. Students can contact the program director for approval to enroll during their final year in the program. The director will give site approval and will work with you and an identified on-site mentor to design an individual project to increase and enhance your organizational leadership skills within your desired area. The course counts toward your required Career Electives. With the addition of hours specifically devoted to the project, it can be done at a place of current employment. Students can also access internship opportunities
through the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
