Brief Overview
Yuja is a basic cloud-based video recording, editing, and storage application. Yuja
is embedded within WyoCourses, allowing instructors and students to easily record
and upload within course assignments.
Instructors can record web-cam along with their screen, upload and host videos from
other sources, and create folders to store and manage their recordings. Yuja has many capabilities including the ability for you to insert interactive quizzes
into your videos (which can be integrated directly with WyoCourses gradebook) and
make in-video, time synced comments.
Accessibility note: Every video uploaded to Yuja is automatically captioned.

How do I access Yuja?
UW has purchased an enterprise license for the Yuja video platform. Students, staff,
and faculty all have their own accounts. Right now it can only be accessed via WyoCourses
or Single Sign-On (SSO).
In WyoCourses: If you are an instructor, access it via WyoCourses at some point, so it knows you
are an instructor and provides you the appropriate permissions. To do so, anywhere
in your course where you edit text click on the Yuja logo in the visual editor. Yuja
is also listed in the course menu on the left. For more info on accessing Yuja within
Canvas, watch the "ECTL Yuja Tutorial" linked under "Yuja Resources."
Single Sign-On (SSO): Go to https://uwyo.video.yuja.com/, and click on the "Login Using" drop-down menu (upper right corner). Select "University
of Wyoming Single Sign-On" and click "login." This should bring you to the UW Login
page, where you can login with your UW credentials.
