Welcome from the new Chief Diversity Officer

Welcome to the Office of the Chief Diversity Officer for Diversity and Inclusion. This office was made possible due to the vision, commitment, and hard work of President Laurie Nichols, the support of the Board of Trustees, and members of the University of Wyoming campus community both past and present. The doors to this office opened on July 17, 2017. I am honored to serve as the inaugural Chief Diversity Officer.  Other members of the office team are Ms. Janean Forsyth Lefevre, EEO and Diversity Specialist and Interim ADA Coordinator, and two half-time administrative support staff: Ms. Kaila Mills and Ms. Jackie Sizemore.

The immediate priority is to develop an initial strategic plan for this office. This process will begin by listening and learning from you on the existing diversity and inclusion efforts and priorities of the campus community. This information will then be utilized to create the foundation for establishing new goals and priories that build on the rich history and culture of the University of Wyoming campus community.
