The University of Wyoming maintains the following types of agreements with other educational institutions around the world:
Memorandum of agreement, such as the following:
Bilateral & multilateral student exchange agreements
Consortia agreements
Collaborative degree programs (e.g., joint, dual and consecutive degree programs)
Education abroad program and partnership agreements
The Fulbright Scholar Program: Each year, the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program provides various funding opportunities to conduct research abroad. There are several types of funds based on discipline, type of travel, and length of academic career:
Fulbright Global Scholar Awards (teaching, research, and/or professional projects abroad)
Flex Awards (multiple, short-term stays in host country over 1-2 years)
Fulbright Distinguished Chair Awards (recognition for eminent scholars with records of significant publication and outstanding teaching)
Fulbright Postdoctoral and Early Career Awards (for recently minted scholars to deepen expertise and build connections in their fields)
Fulbright Public Policy Fellowships (for early and mid-career US professionals to serve in a partner foreign government ministry or institution)
Fulbright International Education Administrators Seminars (fully funded grants for US higher education administrators to participate in an intensive, two-week seminar abroad to learn about other countries’ higher education systems. Seminars are available in India, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Germany, France and Russia.)

Host Visiting Scholars: Take advantage of opportunities for US universities to host eminent visiting scholars from around the world and enhance our international campus community!
Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (S-I-R) Program (Provides US colleges and universities the opportunity to host scholars from other countries for a semester or academic year. S-I-Rs teach primarily at the undergraduate level, collaborate with faculty and administrators, and interact with the campus and local community. For more information, contact sir@iie.org)
Outreach Lecturing Fund (Provides funding to host Fulbright Visiting Scholars who are already in the United States for short-term speaking engagements. For more information, contact OLF@iie.org)
The University of Wyoming Center for Global Studies provides a Fulbright advisor, Shawn Bunning (sbunning@uwyo.edu), who can assist UW students, staff, and faculty with Fulbright funding applications.
