Capstone Deadlines

Required Deadlines to Complete your Capstone


DECEMBER 2023 COMPLETION

In order to complete your Capstone by December please adhere to the following deadlines listed below. If your plan is to graduate, please be sure you notify the Honors College of your intention to graduate.

May 5: Capstone Project Initiation Form Due


Dec 1: Completed Project Due to Capstone Mentor for Review


Dec 1-11: Revise and Resubmit Project to Capstone Mentor


Dec 13: Present at Honors December Roundtable


Dec 15: Capstone Mentor Evaluation Form Due


Dec 15: Consider Optional Publication in WyoScholar


 

MAY 2024 COMPLETION

In order to complete your Capstone by May please adhere to the following deadlines listed below. If your plan is to graduate please be sure you notify the Honors College of your intention to graduate.

Oct 31: *Capstone Project Initiation Form Due

*All Engineering Majors using their Senior Design Project to fulfill the requirements of the Honors Capstone have until Feb 12 to complete their Project Initiation Form due to faculty and project assignment coodination necessary in Engineering.
* *All Nursing Majors using their Nursing Senior Capstone to fulfill the requirements of the Honors Capstone have until Feb 12 to submit their Capstone Initiation Form. 

April 20: Present Project at Undergraduate Research and Inquiry Day


April 26: Completed Project Due to Capstone Mentor for Review


April 26 - May 6: Revise and Resubmit Project to Capstone Mentor


May 10: Faculty Mentor Evaluation Form Due


May 13: Consider Optional Publication in WyoScholar


 

AUGUST 2024 COMPLETION

In order to complete your Capstone by August please adhere to the following deadlines listed below. If your plan is to graduate please be sure you notify the Honors College of your intention to graduate.

Jan 22: Capstone Project Initiation Form Due


July 26: Completed Project Due to Capstone Mentor for Review


July 26 - Aug 5: Revise and Resubmit Project to Capstone Mentor


Aug 9: Latest date to Present at Honors-approved Venue


Aug 9: Capstone Mentor Evaluation Form Due


Aug 12: Consider Optional Publication in WyoScholar
