...to the Preprofessional Health Advising Center for the University of Wyoming.  This site is here to help you reach your goals of attending professional school.

What does it mean to be a "Preprofessional Health" student? Well, that's a good question; it can be confusing. A preprofessional health student is one who:

• Is obtaining, or already has, a bachelor's degree but at the same time working on prerequisite coursework to apply to professional health school.
• Actively researching the professional schools and is acquiring the requirements necessary to apply.
• Is seeking knowledge about their occupation of choice by shadowing health professionals, volunteering, and working in the area.
• Gets involved in activities of the occupation choice and plays a leadership role in those chosen activities.
