Relevant texts, films, and resources will be included so students can learn of Matthew’s legacy

Community Conversations: Scholarship and Research Symposium on Culture, Gender, and Social Justice

Film Screenings with panel discussion

  • Four movie screenings of two different films
  • Two screenings on campus (one each film) and two screenings in the community (one each film)
  • Panel discussion following each screening

Wyoming Chronicles PBS Special Release Date
Sheriff O’Malley and others discuss their eyewitness account of the Matthew Shepard case

October 4th
“ANGELS” - an interdisciplinary performance with actual “Angels”
Readings, and music by UW and LHS Choirs. 7:30pm BCPA Concert Hall, free

Saturday U at the Buchanan Center

Conspirare’s performance of “Considering Matthew Shepard” 7:30pm LHS Theatre. Admission is free with tickets available through the Fine Arts Box Office, online or by phone (307-766-6666)
