Welcome to the Department of Theatre and Dance!

Housing one of the most outstanding undergraduate theatre programs in the country, UW Theatre and Dance is dedicated to the advancement, practice, and understanding of theatre and dance arts.

Our mission is to prepare students effectively for professional careers in theatre, dance, motion pictures, or screenwriting and playwriting, as well as for graduate and professional schools through considerable hands-on and curricular training.

Snowy Range Summer Theatre Presents 2012 Season

May 15, 2012 — An irreverent, hilarious tale of a Christmas elf gone bad; a family-friendly, toe-tapping tribute to a country music legend; and a romantic musical about the roller coaster of love are all subjects of the 59th season of Snowy Range Summer Theatre.

UW Theatre and Dance Closes Out the Season with “The Mikado”

April 3, 2012 — The University of Wyoming Department of Theatre and Dance closes out the 2011-2012 season with Gilbert and Sullivan’s sparkling and lavish comic opera, “The Mikado,” April 17-21 at 7:30 p.m. on the Fine Arts main stage.

Spring Dance Concert at UW

February 22, 2012 — The University of Wyoming Department of Theatre and Dance will perform this season’s final dance concert, “The Unknown Exposed,” featuring new contemporary ballet, jazz and modern dance works, March 1-3 at 7:30 p.m. in the UW Arts and Sciences auditorium.
