Athletic Coaching at UW

At UW individuals enroll in the athletic coaching program to become qualified professional coaches. To coach at Wyoming public schools, you must complete our courses. Those with a Wyoming Educator License must obtain an endorsement. Non-licensed individuals must obtain a permit.

Our Athletic Coaching program is housed in the Division of Kinesiology and Health.

What Is Athletic Coaching?

Individuals in the athletic coaching program learn theoretical and practical applications through coursework to carry into their coaching careers. Online coursework is combined with in-person sessions for a hybrid experience.
