ESRN
Membership
ESRN membership is free and open to all, connecting members to community health research, resources, and support across Wyoming.
Network Priorities
As a Community Based Participatory Research Network, members come together to outline
the needs they see across the state and establish our research agenda.
The outlined ESRN Research Priorities are:
-
Healthcare Access
-
Mental Health Access
-
Maternal Child Health
-
Disease-specific
-
Underserved Populations
The priorities guide the next steps and future work for the ESRN, including:
-
Identifying research projects,
-
Pursuing funding that coincides with the ESRN priorities, and
-
Guiding the ESRN’s Partnership Development Awards and Pilot Awards, which annually fund ESRN members.
Outside researchers interested in working with the ESRN must fit with these research priorities.

The Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND) is pleased to announce the Equality State Research Network (ESRN) Awards. The ESRN focuses on supporting research that improves the health and wellbeing of Wyoming residents using community-based participatory research methods (CBPR) and focuses on patient/person-centered outcomes.
In support of this emphasis, the ESRN is offering Two (2) funding mechanisms: 1) Partnership Development Awards, which centers around developing community collaborations to engage in research and 2) Pilot Awards for Community-based Research, which supports CBPR activities. We expect to award $20,000 to be distributed among 2 to 5 awardees.
