Tyler grew up in southeast Wyoming and attended Laramie High School. Upon graduating, he attended Casper College on a basketball scholarship before transferring to play at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC). While at UNC, he majored in Sport and Exercise Science and then received a Master's in Biomedical Science. Tyler became passionate about a career in healthcare while studying physiology and shadowing team physicians and orthopedic doctors in college but, he looks forward to learning about many other specialties and aspects of medicine in the future. Outside of school, he enjoys outdoor activities like camping, hunting, fishing and working on his grandparents' farm.
