How to Get Involved

Our HLC Peer Review team will be in Wyoming November 18-19, 2019.  You can contribute to a positive accreditation outcome in many ways:

Review UW’s mission statement and our current strategic plan.
Read our executive summary of our Assurance Argument on our UW HLC Accreditation site.
Be available when the HLC team is on campus. We will have a formal schedule prior to the visit after the team reads our assurance argument and knows who they want to meet with.

Here are examples of questions review team members may ask. These lists are not exhaustive, and you should expect the team to ask additional general and UW-specific questions. Please answer all questions honestly and thoughtfully while being constructive (these meetings aren’t kvetch sessions – reviewers learn nothing from negative rants). UW’s assurance argument identifies and discusses strengths and challenges UW faces, and the evaluation team will be aware of these. Your interactions with the evaluation team will reinforce our findings and provide strong evidence that we meet the Criteria for Accreditation."
