War Memorial Stadium: West Stands Renovation

Schematic of West Stadium Renovation

War Memorial Stadium is the oldest stadium in the Mountain West Conference. The War is home to incredible moments, fascinating history, and the best fans in the nation.

The University of Wyoming has been fortunate to complete various critical renovations throughout the stadium’s history. The addition of the Wildcatter Stadium Club and Suites in 2010, and the construction of the McMurry High Altitude Performance Center — recognized as one of the most beautiful facilities in the Mountain West Conference – in 2018, are two previous changes that have continued to help accommodate spectators and student-athletes in Laramie.

This project focuses on the west side of the stadium. The renovation will aim to improve fan experience, with a host of new amenities and game-day enhancements. Enhancements include improved seating, wider rows, and improved concessions, restrooms, lighting and a new press box/media area.
