Step 1: Explore Transferring Credits
If you are transferring from a Wyoming community college, use the WyoTransfer portal to log in with your community college credentials and see how your courses may transfer to UW.
Step 2: Apply to UW
Submit your application through UW or the Common App. It’s quick, simple and starts your admission process.
Step 3: Find Scholarships
Eligible students transferring from a Wyoming community college may continue receiving the Hathaway Scholarship at the University of Wyoming, helping make a UW degree even more affordable.
Step 4: Send official Transcripts to UW
Arrange for your institution to send transcripts via email or mail to:

Express Transfer Agreement
The Express Transfer Agreement (ETA) program helps students at participating Wyoming community colleges plan a seamless transfer to the University of Wyoming. Available in select majors, ETA offers co-admission, coordinated advising and a clear academic pathway so you can transfer with confidence and stay on track to complete your UW bachelor's degree.
