Special Visit Options
Student Athletes
While we can't arrange NCAA D-1 appointments, reach out to coaches directly before your visit for more info.
Graduate Students
Graduate students can take a campus tour, but please contact your program department directly for specific visit details.
Transfer Students
Join a tour specifically for transfer students and learn about the transfer process, admissions and credit transfer.
Admissions Events
In addition to regular visits, we host several special events throughout the year for prospective students. Admitted high school seniors can attend New Student Day events in March and April to meet advisors, residence life staff and other admitted students. We also offer Discovery Days for students still exploring their options, where you can dive deeper into what UW has to offer. Check out all available events and find one that fits your schedule. Important Visit info
Your visit to UW will typically last about four hours, depending on the appointments you choose and staff availability. Visits with less than a week’s notice will only include a campus tour and an admissions information session, lasting about two hours. We recommend scheduling early to make sure you get the most out of your visit, including academic appointments with faculty members. During special times like Spring Break, the campus may be quieter, but we still offer campus tours and admissions sessions.
