Karen Bartsch Estes
Karen Bartsch Estes was named as an associate dean in July 2022. Prior to the appoint,
Bartsch Estes had been at the University of Wyoming since 1992, originally as an assistant
professor in the Psychology department. From 2013-2018 Bartsch Estes served as a professor
and chair for the Psychology Department. Her main areas of research interests include
conceptual development (theory of mind; theory-theory; recognition of learning), Development
of social cognition (application to persuasion) and moral development. Bartsch Estes
continues an impressive career in Higher Education with her naming as an associate
dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.
