Advising Center

The CEPS Academic Advising Center, located in Engineering Building Room 2085, provides advising services to undergraduate students majoring in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Construction Management, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy and Petroleum Engineering, Geology and Geophysics, Mathematics, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Physics and Astronomy. We assist students with scheduling and registering for courses, creating an undergraduate academic plan, exploring possible majors and minors, understanding university policies, forms and petitions, understanding degree requirements, referrals to university and college services, exploring extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, and discussing academic difficulties.

Our center officially opened in the summer of 2018, and consists of seven full-time Professional Academic Advisors, an Advising Manager and Support Staff. We also serve as a resource for information and training to the academic advising community in our college.

Academic year hours: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday (except for university holidays and closures, or as posted.)

Summer session hours: 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
