Research Experience
I have worked on several grant funded research projects, including a project funded by the Department of Health and Human Services on academic misconduct as well as a project researching the resiliency of children of incarcerated parents. My research has also examined gender responsive programming for the reentry and rehabilitation of female offenders. Additionally, I have engaged in several studies surrounding the application of traditional criminological theories to the study of victimization. This research has led to several peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Criminal Justice and Behavior, Feminist Criminology, Violence and Victims, Victims and Offenders, and Journal of Financial Crime.
