Graduate Application Requirements Checklist
This list is not intended as a substitute for the Application Instructions for Admission
provided by the Admissions Office at the University of Wyoming. You must read and follow the Admissions Office instructions carefully. Please use this form only as a checklist to help you ensure that you have obtained and returned all necessary application
materials for admission to the graduate program in Computer Science at the University
of Wyoming. Your application cannot be processed until these materials and admission
requirements have been received.
I. Apply to the University of Wyoming and Computer Science through the online application
portal.
Start your UW Graduate Application
In the application, the following are required:
- $50 Application Fee
- Unofficial College Transcripts
- Test Scores (GRE, TOEFL or IELTS) [TOEFL or IELTS - international applicants only]
- Research Statement
- Curriculum Vitae
- Request 3 letters of recommendation (Use the admission application to request letters)
- Agree to the terms of the Admissions agreement and submit application
- Wait to hear from department about admission decision
II. If the Department of Computer Science recommends you for admission, you will need
to provide the following directly to UW Admissions.
- Official college transcripts from all post-secondary institutions sent directly to
UW Admissions
- Official GRE scores sent directly from ETS to UW Admissions
- If an international applicant, please follow this checklist
International applicants in particular may choose to complete parts I. and II. at
the same time to expediate the process.
III. If you are interested in a graduate assistantship, send an application directly
to the Department of Computer Science.
This application may be submitted at the same time as the online application in part
I.
