About Service Saturday

Service Saturday is an opportunity for all members of the University of Wyoming community to give back. Events are hosted once monthly during the school year with different service events each month. We encourage all students, faculty, and staff to participate. National Public Lands Day

Saturday, September 27

9am-2pm

Multiple project sites - meet at Washington Park Otto Dahl Picnic Shelter

 

Celebrate National Public Lands Day and Wyoming Public Lands Day with a day of trail maintenance and other projects! Coffee and donuts will be provided at the morning kickoff at the Washington Park Otto Dahl Shelter, where volunteers will have the opportunity to hear about each project before departing to that project's location.

 

There will be multiple projects with varying levels of experience and labor. Transportation will be provided for UW students, and lunch will be provided for all volunteers.

 
This event is a collaboration between Common Outdoor Ground, the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest, Wyoming Conservation Corps, Wyoming State Parks, Southeast Wyoming Climbers Coalition, Laramie BikeNet, the Trail FAIRIES, the Southeast Wyoming Outdoor Recreation Collaborative, and the University of Wyoming Outdoor Program and SLCE Office.
