Students eager to make a meaningful impact on the UW community have several opportunities to get involved. Our student government and student media organizations play key roles in ensuring that student voices are heard and represented. Students are able to lead, advocate and contribute to shaping campus life.
ASUW
The Associated Students of the University of Wyoming is a student governing body committed to improving campus and student life at UW. ASUW allocates funds for student organizations and events, advocates for student needs and serves as a hub for leaders on campus. ASUW is always seeking passionate members to join their efforts and make a positive impact on campus.
UW Student Media
UW Student Media produces a variety of publications across print and digital platforms, covering topics, events, and issues that matter most to UW students. Whether in writing, graphic design or editing, there are numerous opportunities to get involved. Our teams are always looking to expand and amplify student voices.

CSIL for All Students
UW’s Center for Student Involvement & Leadership is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where students can explore their passions, develop leadership skills and engage with the campus and local community.
