Stitch it Forward
Tuesdays from 4-6pm (academic year)
Wyoming Union Fireplace Lounge
Join us this fall to Stitch it Forward! In this program participants will knit or
crochet items as part of a fundraiser for the Laramie Soup Kitchen.
At the conclusion of this program, items will be on sale for a suggested donation
to the Laramie Soup Kitchen. Makers can also opt to donate their item directly to
the Soup Kitchen.
All levels of skill and experience are welcome!
Service Saturdays
Service Saturdays are an opportunity for all members of the University of Wyoming community to give back. Events are hosted once monthly during the school year with different service events each month.
Alternative Breaks
An Alternative Break is an immersive trip meant to engage students in service-learning related to a specific community and social issue.
Volunteer Hub
Volunteer Hub is a website that brings together Laramie nonprofits and Albany County residents. Through this website users can browse a list of Laramie-area organizations, reply to active volunteer opportunities, and create a record of their volunteer hours and activities.
SLCE Advisory Board
This group is a community of passionate, committed students who are committed to service, leadership, and community engagement. Advisory Board members are University of Wyoming students who take part in educational and community-building opportunities while also supporting programs and events with the SLCE Office.
The Big Event

The Big Event is a one-day service opportunity for UW students to say thank you to the greater Laramie community for the support they provide to college students.
