Research & Outreach

The University of Wyoming College of Education conducts cutting-edge research and outreach. Faculty research spans a wide range of fields within education, counseling, leadership, special education, and curriculum design.

Ever true to the university's land-grant mission to support statewide education and development, the College of Education leads numerous community outreach initiatives. The college and its outreach centers actively engage Wyoming schools, districts, and community stakeholders through quality professional development and network growth.

The college is also home to research and outreach grant programs, securing outside and internal funds to tackle the biggest challenges to education in the state, such as postsecondary access to rural communities, teacher success and retention, support for school and district leaders, and accessible, public-facing mental health services.
