The faculty of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering endeavor to train the next generation of top-quality engineers and researchers. With a combination of successful, funded research and top-level industrial experience, ECE professors bridge the gap between theory and practice, creating an environment in which students can develop the requisite skills demanded by the best employers. 

Recently secured federal grants provide both graduate and undergraduate ECE students the opportunity to take part in rapidly growing technology fields such as green energy and bioengineering.  Rigorous instruction, small class sizes, and extremely competitive tuition guarantee an accessible, challenging and rewarding experience in ECE.
