2026 Newsletter

Sometimes it really does feel like we are “boats against the current.” But with the efforts of UW’s remarkable faculty and students and the stalwart support of our donors, students have traveled around the world, faculty have built international engagement and opportunity for us all, and we have surged ahead. In this newsletter you will find wonderful stories about venturesome students and faculty who turn every small research opening into a large opportunity far afield for their colleagues and classes.

2025 Newsletter

Every year we look back and realize we’ve come a long way! The past twelve months have brought remarkable successes for CGS, and significantly expanded our reach and commitment. All of us who are globally engaged know that those gains can be hard won against the current in any year. Nothing is ever straightforward, but the goals are well worth the effort.
