Student Clinic Director: Bobbi Owen

Bobbi Owen is a native of Hammond, Montana. She graduated in 2015 from Carroll College with a degree in Political Science. 

Following graduation, Bobbi interned for several public officials and gained exposure to the legal profession and public policy. 

With a belief that the most influential people hold law degrees, Bobbi decided to pursue law school with aspirations of one day advocating on behalf of the natural resources industry. She was drawn to the University of Wyoming for it's strength in the area of natural resources and the clinical education opportunities. 

Skilled in both written and oral advocacy, Bobbi is a current staff member for the Wyoming Law Review and serves as a Legal Writing TA. She will also be representing the College of Law at the Regional Competition for the ABA Negotiation Competition in November. 

In addition to her other activities, Bobbi has actively taken the available EENR courses offered by the law school and has gained valuable hands-on experience while interning with the Cheyenne law firm Hirst Applegate LLP.

"Having thoroughly enjoyed my coursework within the EENR practice areas, I was interested in taking a very active role in the clinic by serving as the student director," she says. 'I am deeply honored to be serving in this position."
