ENTREPRENEURSHIP & BUSINESS LAW PRACTICUM

Student Practicum Director: Michael Partrick

Born and raised in Colorado, I attended the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado to receive a double major in finance and real estate. Law school was never a plan of mine, but after taking a property law and business law class through the business school, I knew I wanted to go to law school to help businesses with their legal questions and issues so they could focus their attention on their product or service. It was there that I found my passion for assisting businesses in achieving their goals.

I came to the University of Wyoming College of Law to further my passion for business law while simultaneously living in an area that has the outdoor amenities to accommodate my hobbies. After taking the business courses the University of Wyoming has to offer, as well as working for multiple private firms, I jumped at the opportunity to be the Student Director of the Business Law Practicum to further my passion for assisting businesses within my community.

After law school, I will be clerking for a Superior Court Judge in Anchorage, Alaska. Thereafter, I will be pursuing a career in business law in Anchorage to support community businesses. I am honored to be the Student Director of the Business Law Practicum and look forward to working alongside Professor Mocsary this semester.
