Instruction Plan

The Instruction Plan is under revision for the 2023-2024 academic year. Our campus is currently revamping the University Studies Program and the Instruction Plan Team is gathering data to inform recommendations for library instruction after the Next Generation General Education University program has been established.

Instruction Mission

UW Libraries support students, faculty, and staff through navigating the information and digital literacies of their everyday lives.  We empower individuals with information through instruction, workshops, programming, and more that encourage critical and inclusive thinking.

  • Begin multiple large-scale assessment projects focusing on student success and transfer experiences.
  • Develop evaluation strategies for librarians across UW Libraries to utilize.
