Individual Early Arrival
Students arriving early to campus as part of a group will work directly with the group organizer to coordinate a move-in time and do not need to sign up individually.
Students needing to move-in prior to the start of their contract may do so at a prorated fee, which is charged to the student’s housing bill. Please sign up for an early arrival time by completing the Early Arrival form.
Group Early Arrival
Students arriving early to campus as part of a group will work directly with the group organizer to coordinate a move-in time and do not need to sign up individually.
Those making arrangements for a group of students to arrive early to campus should contact our main office at living@uwyo.edu. By contacting us, the requesting group is responsible for the early arrival charges.
Summer student housing begins the Saturday following the last day of the semester
in May and lasts until August 3, 2024. Summer housing does not require a student to
be registered for summer term classes. However, a student's relationship or continuing
relationship with the university and UW dictates the extent of eligibility for summer
housing.
Eligibility
To be eligible for occupancy in Housing facilities, you must enroll in a University course or program, either during the summer or the preceding spring or following fall semester. Exceptions may be granted by Housing.
The University reserves the right to use your disciplinary status as a factor in eligibility for living in Housing facilities. In addition, Housing reserves the right to deny living arrangements to you if your presence may be detrimental or disruptive to the hall or floor environment.
Housing reserves the right to deny access to the Dining Service facilities when you and/or your guests are disruptive.
The residence halls close for all residents at noon on Saturday, December 16, for
winter break unless approved to remain in Winter Break Housing. Students leaving for
winter break and returning for the spring semester are welcome to leave items in their
rooms over break. Room access will not be available during this time, so take everything
you need until you return in January.
Eligibility
To be eligible for occupancy in the residence hall housing facilities, you must have an active Housing & Dining Services contract for the spring 2025 semester. Exceptions may be granted by Housing.
