EE Nanotechnology | Participants

Fellows are Master and PhD students in a STEM field where their research involves an EE-Nano (Energy and Environmental Nanotechnology) aspect.  Fellows work with partner teachers in classroom around Wyoming and also work with teachers and students at the University of Wyoming.

  • Collaborate with STEM high school teachers in Wyoming rural schools to insert Energy and Environmental Nanotechnology information into the existing Wyoming standards based STEM curriculum to increase teacher and student knowledge, to excite students to pursue higher education in a STEM field and to increase Graduate Fellow leadership skills.

  • Create and deliver hands-on, inquiry-based lesson plans and presentations for Wyoming middle and high school students.

  • Present hands-on activities for on-campus events including State Science Fair, Women in Science,  and more!

  • Work with project coordinator/mentor to improve teaching and leadership skills.
