Dr. Fox is a veterinarian. He has research interests that include naturally-occurring and genetic animal models of neurologic disease, iron metabolism, oxidative stress, huntington disease, and neuroinflammation. He obtained his bachelors and veterinary degrees from the University of Liverpool, before completing residency training in veterinary pathology at the University of Florida, and is board-certified in anatomic pathology. He obtained a PhD from Virginia Tech studying a toxic axonopathy model. He uses a combination of molecular, behavioral, and quantitative pathology approaches in his research.
