Applications are now being accepted for the 11th annual Wyoming Rendezvous Tour.
The Rendezvous Tour provides University of Wyoming faculty with an opportunity to visit a region of Wyoming at no cost and to gain an appreciation for the geography, cultures and economy of the state. Participants are typically faculty who are relatively new to UW, but the tour is open to veteran faculty members as well. Residents and community and state leaders have an opportunity to meet and become better acquainted with UW personnel and to share personal professional interests.
Most stops on the agenda include visits to high schools, local businesses and meetings with UW trustees and local legislators.
This year's tour will explore northeastern Wyoming from Sept. 17-Sept 20. Overnight stops will be in Gillette, Hulett and Casper. Among the tour stops are visits to Black Thunder Coal Mine, a large family-owned sawmill facility, Devils Tower National Monument, the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center and a local high school.
Hotel accommodations and meals will be provided by UW.
