A wellness program for University of Wyoming faculty and staff is being offered this semester through Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center.
“As you set your goals for 2018, please consider becoming a part of our adult wellness program,” says Sarah Luke, Wellness Center assistant director. “The primary focus is on physical wellness.”
She says, based on positive feedback, the Wellness Center will offer various time slots for workouts: Mondays and Wednesdays at either noon or 5:30 p.m.; and Fridays at noon.
An information meeting is scheduled Monday, Jan. 29, at noon and also at 5:30 p.m. in Room 115 on the Wellness Center side of the building. An assessment fair is scheduled Wednesday, Jan. 31, at noon in the group exercise studio on the second floor and also at 5:30 p.m. in the fitness studio on the third floor. Both rooms are located on the Half Acre Recreation side of the facility.
Regular workouts will begin Friday, Feb. 2, at noon in the group exercise studio and continue Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through April 27. Evening sessions will be held Mondays and Wednesdays only in the fitness studio.
Participation in the program is included with Campus Recreation membership. Information about membership fees can be found at www.uwyo.edu/rec/facility-hours-and-information/membership-information.html#membership_fees.
