Aquatics

The University of Wyoming Aquatic Center provides opportunities for the UW community to swim, stay active, and enjoy time in the water. Whether swimming laps, participating in aquatic fitness classes, or enjoying recreational swim, the Aquatic Center offers something for a variety of interests and abilities.

MAKE WAVES

Campus Recreation Athletic Training supports the health and safety of UW students participating in recreational activities and Club Sports. Our nationally certified and state-licensed Athletic Trainer provides injury evaluation and care, rehabilitation, concussion management and other services to help students safely stay active and return to the activities they enjoy.

GET BACK IN THE GAME

The University of Wyoming offers 18 Club Sports programs that provide students with opportunities to compete, stay active and connect with others who share their interests. Each student-led club has its own requirements and activities, offering a unique way to get involved and be part of the UW community.

Climbing Wall

The climbing wall at Half Acre is a favorite for climbers of all levels! Enjoy bouldering, lead climbing and top-rope climbing, plus take advantage of our climbing clinics to improve your skills.

Massage Chairs

UW students can enjoy free full-body electronic massage chairs in the Wellness Center’s quiet Re-Charge Room to relax, reduce stress and relieve tension.

Golf Simulator

Keep your golf game strong year-round with our TruGolf Sport simulator! UW students, faculty, staff and dependents with an active Campus Rec membership can sign up for tee times after a brief training.

Facilities

The Half Acre Wellness Center & Gymnasium offers plenty of court space for sports! Check the schedule—courts are available throughout the day, though they may be reserved for intramurals and other activities.
