Great Colleges to Work For Survey

Guided by our strategic plan, the University of Wyoming is committed to being an institution of higher learning where everyone can thrive. As part of this commitment, UW is participating in the 2026 Great Colleges to Work for Survey, a nationwide program that measures workplace climate and employee engagement.  This survey is an opportunity for all benefited employees to confidentially share what is going well at UW and where we can improve.  As UW prepares for a Presidential transition, feedback on the employee experience is more important than ever and your voice is needed!

The Great Colleges to Work for Survey asks a broad range of questions related to the employee experience including those related to the following areas

  • Collaboration
  • Communication
  • Confidence in Senior Leadership
  • Faculty & Staff Wellbeing
  • Job Satisfaction & Support
  • Mission & Pride
  • Satisfaction with Benefits

Timeline

  • March 16 – All benefited employees receive a unique link to complete the survey
  • April 3 – Last day for benefited employees to complete the survey
  • By May 15 – UW leadership shares preliminary observations from survey results
  • Fall 2026 – Results shared and discussed with campus; next steps determined

The Great Colleges to Work for Survey is administered by Modern Think, LLC in collaboration with The Chronicle of Higher Education.
