Angeline Bottera is originally from Austin, TX. She received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. After graduation, she worked for the STRONG STAR PTSD Consortium on a variety of RCTs investigating treatment and prevention of PTSD in active duty service members and their families. Her current research interests include the development and maintenance of binge eating behaviors and the role of emotion. Angeline completed an internship at Charleston Area Medical Center/WVU in 2021-22 and graduated with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from UW in May 2022. She is now a post-doc on the NIMH-funded T32 Midwest Regional Post-Doctoral Training Program in Eating Disorders Research at the University of Chicago.
